Why it’s better than dragging

• No misalignment over multiple slides
• Faster than “Paste in place” workflows
• Works with single items or groups

• Logos, headers, and footer bars
• Badges, watermarks, and CTAs
• Slide/page templates in carousels

Use this if you’re

• Building multi-page carousels or decks
• Standardizing footer/navigation bars
• Keeping partner logos fixed across slides

Avoid it if

• Pages are different sizes or ratios
• You need a slightly different position per page

Do this

1. On Page A, select the element (or group) and press Cmd/Ctrl + C.
2. Go to Page B — don’t click anywhere on the canvas.
3. Press Cmd/Ctrl + V. It appears in the exact same spot as on Page A.

• Group related pieces (e.g., footer bar) before copying.
• If it pastes off-position, undo and paste again without clicking.
• Use with your page template to lock brand consistency.

Before

Manual dragging caused 2–4px drift between slides. Looks messy.

After

Copy on Page 1 ➝ navigate ➝ paste. Zero drift. Clean, professional flow.

It pastes off-position

• You probably clicked the canvas on Page B — undo, don’t click, paste again.
• Confirm both pages have the same size.

Grouped elements shift

• Group first, then copy the group.
• Avoid locked items inside the group.
